Hyped 90s Hip-Hop & R&B night Supa Dupa Fly is back on 12^th August for another rammed out party at Jazz Café bringing back the golden days of 90's Hip-hop and R&B. Named after Missy’s first Album (but you knew that), the music is ONLY 90s Hip-Hop and R&B, so expect to hear Dr Dre, Snoop Dog, KRS One, Wu-Tang, Nas, Bigge, Tupac, A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, LL Cool J, Missy and all the hottest 90s R&B joints from the likes of R Kelly, Donell Jones, Montell Jordan, TLC, Destinys Child and loads more good stuff. 

This month there are live sets from two of the hottest bands of the moment; the awesome Kings Of The City and Ikes, as well as an exclusive 90s guest Dj set from 3x DMC Champion and Yasmin’s Dj Cable plus Emily Rawson and Kojak. Selected Pints & Vodka mixers £2.20, so even the drinks are 90s prices!

Fresh from a continuing string of road-blocked nights at Jazz Café Camden, hyped 90s Hiphop and RnB night, Supa Dupa Fly has launched a second monthly event to meet the huge demand. We bring all the classic party joints down south to Plan B, Brixton, and there’s a twist…

As well as the best of the likes of Dre, Snoop, Nas, Bigge, Tupac, A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, Missy, TLC, Total plus two of the hottest acts on the scene right now, we’ll be treating you to the old skool garage tracks we grew up on… So if ‘Booo’ ‘Destiny’ ‘My Desire’ ‘Lovebug’ ‘Doolally’ & ‘Crazy Love’ ring a bell, this is one for YOU! The June and July events WENT OFF Bigtime, so thank you to all of our ever increasing following for the love! We love you back.

The night will be hosted by 90s hiphop legend Big Ted, one of the pioneers of hiphop in the UK, one half of ‘chubby kids’ who hosted the iconic show in Kiss 100 from 1999-2008. Since leaving Kiss, he’s been on the road with Ty and hosting concerts for hiphop legends Epmd, Pete Rock & CL, Q-Bert, KRS One & Raekwon.

Other djs on the night include the awesome Rugrat, Jus J, Cronikal & Shortee. Live are Jerome and The Soulnotes Thai Matic & Skits

Time Out London recommend … “This great Camden night brings back the '90s jams you love, from Biggie and Tupac to the 'Pure Swing' albums with a dash of cheesy R&B joints from the likes of R Kelly, Destiny's Child and Montell Jordan around a live set from Random Impulse. It's the official after-party for the DMC DJ Championship UK heats too, which are earlier on at the venue from 7pm.”
