Supa Dupa Fly 90s / Early 2000s Hiphop / R&B / Garage w/ Tanya Lacey / Big Ted / Emily Rawson @ Plan B, Brixton, Saturday 1st September


Hyped 90s Hiphop night Supa Dupa Fly has become THE necessity in any 90s Hiphop lovers diary! In the past few months we have torn town the main stage at Rivington Street Festival, hosted a venue at The Camden Crawl, as well as shows for Rita Ora, Stooshe, Conor Maynard & Cleo Sol.
This month, we’ll be giving away our exclusive customised Supa Dupa Fly Tee’s to those of you who we feel are the fly-est – so be sure to be looking FRESH. In the main room, expect 1990-2004 Hiphop / R&B from the likes of Biggie, 2pac, A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, SWV, Destiny’s Child, Montell Jordan, Total, Donell Jones & a lot more! Downstairs it’s all about the Old Skool Garage so if ‘Booo’ ‘Little Man’ ‘Lovebug’ & ‘Crazy Love’ ring a bell, this is one for YOU. SDF has received notable press features from the likes of The Metro, The Guardian Guide, The Evening Standard, Time Out over the past few months.


Tanya Lacey is described as “One to watch” by Sunday Times Culture. Her new single ‘Greatness’ featuring Kano is already play listed on BBC Radio 1XtraTanya recently supported both Bruno Mars and Labrinth on tour and wrote the hook for’s global hit single ‘T.H.E’. Tanya has also written tracks for Stooshe, Cover Drive and Dionne Bromfield – she is now set to take center stage with the release of her solo material.

Dj Big Ted is Hip Hop! Supa Dupa Fly's champion crowd pleaser and deck ripper like no other! His now legendary 10 year stint on Kiss 100 was home to a show that featured hip hop greats from Run DMC to Missy Elliot to Jay Z! Alongside classic monthly sets at SDF and clubs everywhere, you can still catch him manning the decks on tour for UK stalwarts Ty & Blak Twang.

Emily Rawson is one of the UK’s most in demand female Djs & promoters. She’s been confirmed to play BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, as well as djing, curating & hosting festival stages including The Camden Crawl, Lovebox & Rivington Street Festival this year with her brands. She has just got back from a stint spinning in NYC where she supported NYC hiphop legend Rich Medina, and has done recently done a guest mix for BBC Radio 1Xtra. She was also featured in Time Out as ‘meet the resident’ In April 2012.
Resident djs JJ, Cronikal & Sharpey will also be on the decks.
